10-minute plays and music

Did civilization leave us or did we leave civilization? That is the primary question we ask as the famed Sticky series explores the realm of deserted islands and deserted cities. Three Stickies this fall take us to deserted places and the last people who people them.

Now in it's 9th New York City year, bar play series Sticky takes on a new theme. While the world goes to hell around us, we start thinking about getting out. Everyone's doing it, wondering if it might make more sense to set off from Pier 11 in a stolen boat for parts unknown, or head off into the underbelly of Detroit for some off-grid living and vegetable cultivation. So we're bringing it home to NYC, the ultimate desertable city, and into Bowery Poetry Club, where the artists come to battle it out with beggars and John Varvatos alike.
