David Marcus plays Severin
David Marcus is an actor, writer and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. Favorite stage credits include originating the role of Owen in Michael Domitrovich’s Artfuckers, directed by Eduardo Machado at Theater for the New City; Arthur Vine in Len Jenkins’ Margo Veil: An Entertainment, under the author’s direction at The Flea Theater; and his ongoing role as the host of Blue Box Productions’ Sticky series at Bowery Poetry Club, now in its 10th production year. www.spotlightright.blogspot.com

Ali Ayala plays Mary Ellen, and directs
Ali Ayala started work on blue box world’s Sticky series in 2004.  She has directed over twenty plays for the long-running Sticky series, including plays by Sheila Callaghan, Adam Szymkowicz, Caridad Svich, Michael Neiderman, Libby Emmons, and many others.  While Blue Box and Sticky keep her quite busy, Ali’s additional directing credits include The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, The Complete History of America (abridged), The Crown Prince of Perfect, At Sea, and several short plays for the Atlantic Theater School. She worked with The Flea Theater on Liz Swados' Jabu. Ali is a graduate of Wake Forest University.
Matthew Murumba plays Lando
Matthew Murumba* has been a regular at Sticky for years and always enjoys working with Blue Box. TV/Film: Law & Order (Co-Star), two Comedy Central Pilots (Series Regular/Co-Star), Kofi (Cannes Film Festival/Heartland Film Festival). Theater: Narrator 1 by Erin Brown (Theater Row). Death in Mozambique (Cherry Lane Theatre).

Havilah Brewster as Ames
Havilah Brewster* Of the plays I’ve been in, the ones I loved best were RadioPlay with Reggie Watts (PS122 as well as Ars Nova, IRT and Redhouse), Ken Urban’s The Happy Sad (Flea Theater) and The Director (Flea Theater). I mostly hang out with my puppy (Madame President), write for my filthy blog (YesImGoingToBlogAboutThis.com) and watch reality television. Things are good.
Race Brown as Danesha
Race Brown is a Philadelphia born Actress and Playwright. Race started acting at the age of 15 with Philadelphia Youth Theater. Race has performed in such plays as "The Bluest Eye", "Sistahs on Fire" and Macbeth to name a few. At age 12 Race started writing plays and discovered another passion. Race self produced her first full length play the comedy “Another Bank Robbery” in 2009 at the The Delaware Opera Company. Her short play "One Night Stand" was recently selected to be in the Manhattan Repertory Theatre’s One Act Play Competition Off-Broadway.

Dan Cozzens as Dan
Dan Cozzens has performed in numerous roles at Sticky, with Woodshed Collective (The Tenant, Confidence Man, 12 Ophelias, Never the Sinner), the Flea (Offending the Audience, Bingo with the Indians, Los Angeles, ‘Twas the Night Before), Incubator Arts (ShortForm, 1000 Wolves); title role in e.e. cummings’ HIM at Walkerspace & has read with Clubbed Thumb, OTSP, APAC, Vagabond Ensemble, Studio42, Prelude, nyu’s hotINK, & others. Training: A.R.T.: acting/directing coursework; BA: Harvard, Biological Anthropology.

Anna Lamadrid as Ruby
Anna Lamadrid is excited to be working with Libby and Blue Box. She was recently seen as the Tomater in The Myths We Need or How to Begin by Larry Kunofsky for Purple Rep. She originated the role of Carolina in Tanya Saracho's NY premiere of Enfrascada with Clubbed Thumb. She has participated in readings/workshops for The Lark, Clubbed Thumb, The Flea, INTAR, Flux Ensemble, NYU and Repertorio Espanol. Company member of Wreckio Ensemble. Eve Udesky as Jess
Eve Udesky* is thrilled to be a part of I am Not an Allegory. Most recently she played Connie in Blue Box's Connie in Detroit and Sonya in Boomerang Theater Company’s production of Uncle Vanya.  Previous to that she was seen in A Brief History of Murder (Suzanne), The Ninja Cherry Orchard (Varya) and Sacrificial Offerings (Hostess) all at The Brick Theater.  Other New York credits include Sweet Love Adieu (Faith) with Oberon Theater Ensemble, Who Will Carve the Turkey? (Niece Nora) at LaMama, The Valkyrie Chick (Frika/Sieglinde) with Target Margin and innumerable roles in Sticky, Blue Box World’s  ongoing ten-minute play series at The Bowery Poetry Club.   Eve is a proud member of Actors Equity.

Lindsay Torrey as Marcia
Lindsay Torrey* is an actor, dancer, and choreographer.  She is delighted to be working with these lovely folks.  Thanks and love to Libby and the entire Sticky crew.  Company Member: Polybe + Seats. BA: Columbia University, MFA: University of Tennessee.

Libby Emmons, writer
 Libby Emmons plays include Zeropia (Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commision), The Girls from Afar (Desipina & Co., East West Players, Open Rehearsal at INTAR, finalist Yale Drama Series), The Little Room (finalist Eugene O'Neill Conference, BBC International Radio Play Competition), Connie in Detroit (Blue Box World & Bowery Poetry Club; TARTE Festival, NYC, 2011), leaving last night (EBE Ensemble, 2010), RU610 (Williamstown Theater Festival commission, 2007) Dirty & Leo in Tokyo (Sanctuary Playwrights Workshop, NYC), among others. BA from Sarah Lawrence College, MFA from Columbia University, where she was awarded the Liberace Scholarship, Shubert Scholarship, Miller Fellowship, Columbia University School of Arts Theatre Merit Scholarship. Rebecca Lowry, stage manager
Rebecca Lowry hails originally from North Carolina and more recently from Nutley, NJ.  A longtime urban educator, Rebecca is a cradle advocate and supporter of the arts.  Her fiance, Drew Warchut, by transitive property, also supports the arts.  Through college crony, Ali Ayala, Rebecca has worked with Blue Box Players' Sticky productions, and just stage managed Eschaton at the Bowery Poetry Club.
